Peter Neeck is a designer, artist and creative problem-solver who believes great design should do more than look good. It should make ideas clearer, connect people with organizations and help solve real problems.
As a designer and client partner at Compass Marketing & Advertising Partners, Peter brings a mix of creative thinking, strategic problem-solving and an eagerness to keep learning to every project. His past experience includes work with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, Create/Uplift, Craftsman Paper Co. and a variety of freelance clients.
A lifelong learner and artist, Peter graduated summa cum laude from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, earning dual concentrations in visual communication design and studio art, along with a minor in drawing. He previously earned an associate degree in liberal arts from St. Mary’s College.
Peter also holds certifications in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator from the Washburn Institute of Technology. His work has been featured in multiple exhibitions, including Kansas State University’s BFA Studio Art and BFA Graphic Design exhibitions, the Annual Undergraduate Juried Exhibition at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art and the Kansas State University Art Scholarship Show. He was also a gold medalist in Advertising Design and Pin Design through SkillsUSA Kansas.
Outside of client work, Peter continues to pursue his own creative practice and participated in a SURP residency at the New York Academy of Art. He enjoys creating art, exploring new ideas and finding connections between creativity, design and the world around him.
Peter is also an avid puzzle cube speed solver, which fits naturally with his love of problem-solving, strategy and figuring out how things work. He believes there is always something new to learn, another problem to solve and another way to make an idea better.
