Marketing Assistant

Marketing Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time, In-Person) 

Location:  Topeka, KS 

Starting Pay:  $17 per hour (with potential for increases based on experience and performance)

We’re looking for a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our growing team. 


Position Overview:
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who brings both precision and creativity to their work. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, this role offers hands-on experience across a variety of projects. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in the details, and loves contributing creative ideas. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Track timelines and help ensure all deliverables stay on schedule 
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns (digital and print), ensuring both creativity and accuracy 
  • Support content creation and scheduling for social media, with a focus on visual appeal and message clarity 
  • Maintain and organize project files, calendars, and checklists 
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inspire fresh, informed ideas 
  • Create, review and edit marketing materials with a sharp eye for design, grammar, and branding 
  • Brainstorm and contribute ideas for campaigns, client work, and internal initiatives 
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings and presentations 


What We’re Looking For: 

  • A creative thinker who’s also highly detail-oriented and organized 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proactive and curious with a desire to learn and grow 
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) 
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is a plus 
  • Experience with WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or other website platforms a plus 
  • Experience with Constant Contact, Mailchimp or other email platforms a plus 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in progress is a bonus 


Work Details: 

  • In-person position based in our Topeka office 
  • Flexible scheduling options: full-time (30–40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 15 hours/week)

Job Title: Marketing Strategist and Client Partner 

Location: Topeka, KS / Hybrid
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our growing team. 


Position Overview:
As a Marketing Strategist and Client Partner, you will be the primary point of contact for multiple clients, managing and leading the development and execution of marketing strategies. You will partner with clients and walk with them to understand their goals, challenges, and vision to create marketing strategies that drive success across both traditional and digital channels. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing principles, design, content creation, customer experience journey mapping, and funnel building. Strong skills in both design and content writing are essential to craft compelling visual and written messages that resonate with target audiences. Position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals, strategies, and execution.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that encompass both traditional and digital channels (social media, email, SEO, PPC, print, etc.).
  • Lead the creative process, including design and content creation, to develop branding, visual assets, and written campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Build and support customer experience journey maps to ensure seamless interactions at every touchpoint through marketing tactics.
  • Design and implement sales funnels that align with client goals and enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Create high-quality content, including blog posts, email campaigns, landing pages, ad copy, and more.
  • Develop visually appealing design elements that enhance marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure strategies remain innovative and effective.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to clients, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other marketing specialists to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, account management, or a similar role.
  • Strong skills in graphic design and content writing, with a portfolio demonstrating success in both areas.
  • Proven track record of building and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, social media platforms, email marketing tools, etc.).
  • Knowledge in customer experience journey mapping and funnel building.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and enjoys taking on challenges.
