Sean has always felt that people need to connect with a business long before they’re ready to buy, and he’s on a mission to make that connection enjoyable and impactful. With a genuine passion for helping both local and national businesses grow, Sean brings creativity and enthusiasm to every project he tackles.
Sean has more than 15 years of experience in digital and traditional media buying, bringing a deep understanding of how to strategically place and optimize campaigns across platforms. Before joining Compass, he was with AlphaMedia, where he led successful media initiatives for a wide range of clients. In addition to his professional work, Sean is actively involved in the community and serves on the Auburn-Washburn Public Schools Foundation.
Sean’s marketing and advertising maestro journey began in high school, assisting his video production teacher with engaging United Way commercials. This early experience led him to the world of television, where he worked on newscasts and local advertising. From there, he joined a production company, where he created everything from a local cooking show to an exciting music showcase and even an outdoor hunting and fishing series for the Outdoor Channel. He’s also had the thrill of working game day operations for the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC, capturing the electrifying spirit of live sports!
When he’s not busy strategizing marketing campaigns, you can find him cheering on his favorite teams—the Kansas Jayhawks and Washburn Ichabods—because, let’s face it, every season is game day in Sean’s book! A lover of live music, he jumps at any opportunity to catch a concert with friends. And if you’re looking for him on a weekend, he’s likely exploring local diners and greasy spoons in search of the best small-town cuisine!
Sean is a devoted husband to Leslie and a proud dad to three energetic daughters—Madeline, Ella, and Sophie—who keep him on his toes!
