The Brew at the Zoo 2026 microsite turns the Topeka Zoo’s adults-only craft beer fundraiser into a one-page ’80s rock party. Built as a single scrolling page, it carries guests from their first look all the way to the ticket store, with everything they need to plan the night along the way.

DEFINE

Brew at the Zoo has a lot to say: three ticket tiers, ten breweries and beverage partners, a live band, four food trucks, a celebrity dunk tank schedule, sponsor recognition, and the rules every guest needs to know before they arrive. The challenge was to fit all of it on one page without losing the energy of the event, and to keep “Get Your Tickets” within easy reach from top to bottom.

DESIGN

A synthwave look sets the tone the moment the page loads: neon color, sunset stripes, bold type and a “Go Full ’80s” attitude. A tab bar jumps straight to Tickets, Beer, Music, Food and Plan Your Night, while a live countdown and a scrolling ticker build anticipation. The three ticket tiers sit side by side so guests can compare General Admission, VIP and Designated Driver at a glance. The brewery lineup, the dunk tank schedule and the food trucks each get their own clear, easy-to-scan section, and the whole page was built to work just as well on a phone as on a desktop.

DELIVER

The finished microsite gives the Zoo a single link that carries the whole event, and the look carried well beyond the screen: Danielle Smith created the updated Brew at the Zoo logo and designed the social media posts and on-site signage, so the event looked the same everywhere guests saw it. And on event night, our own Jennifer Goetz took a turn in the dunk tank. Guests can see what is included, choose a ticket and plan their night in one visit, and every sponsor tier, from presenting sponsor Kaw Valley Bank on down, gets visible recognition. It shows how a fundraiser page can be as fun as the event itself while still doing the serious work of selling tickets.
