How do we keep that funnel flowing into your businesses bank account?
We talked about the buying funnel a few months ago but this week let’s talk about the stages. Where people land in this funnel completely depends on their need for your product or service.
Imagine a funnel.
The 60 to 70% of the people in the very top are not aware of you and they are not in need or what you have to offer. This is the Awareness level. Your branding advertising is letting them know who your…even if they don’t need you right now they are starting to learn what you do and associate that with your name.
The next level would be Consideration. This falls in the 20 to 25% of people, this is where they are moving down that funnel and moving in to a phase of thinking of how their life would be easier if they did have your product. They have some legitimate interest and are really paying attention to what you are saying in your ads.
The next level is Desire or some call it the Information Gathering phase of the funnel. There is anywhere from 10% to 20% of people in this phase. They have decided they need what your company provides. Now they are getting information on the best place to buy it and plan to do so in the near future.
Now that last part of the funnel!! The Purchase phase. They have their money in hand and are ready to make it happen now. This is usually around 3% of the people in the funnel. You just have to make sure that you are the one they are thinking about first.
If you have marketed your business the right way, you will have a good share of their minds all the way through the process. Now that you’ve earned their trust and their business, they will be come Loyal when you take care of them! And that’s when they tell their friends about you.
Just make sure you have someone with a good Compass to guide you through the funnel and to some great successes!
